The endless abode of the vast azure doesn’t lie,
It conceals the piercing Eye of Time
The Eye that sees it all
Scanning a lifetime, a century, an era by-gone.
The watcher- a crystal ball.
As the azure melts into the infinite blue horizon
The clear light of the deep blue illuminates things big and small
the reign of kings long gone
the tale of uncrowned kings, yet to come.
The birds float by
Twittering across the orange horizon-
The tinted clouds whisper little things
of joy and endless pleasure.
The little boy basking in the sun,
The great mind immersed in creative joy-
The Eye rejoices in the happy golden tapestry
woven around fragile human destiny.
A deep yearning fills the fragrant green,
Radiant rays illumine the buried past of proud kings-
their tall present stands still;
Shed a tear for me, each relic sings.
The roving eye does not blink
It sheds not tears
It hides its stoic face
In the deep abyss of the blue bliss
Waiting, Watching and Wishing upon wispy clouds.
The happy days pass- dark clouds engulf the blithe spirits
Like a serpent decimating another Garden of Eden.
The naked flame of greed and hatred
Enshrouds toxic crudeness
sowing seeds of self-destruction.
All that is soft, all that is gentle
All that is noble and of virtue
is swept away by a crude Frankenstein
The pain, the wounds fester
The phoenix of hope from its ashes does not rise to ponder.
The pensive Eye brims now with unshed tears
of unborn eyes
But can the parched tears water the scorched earth?
As Medusa's gaze tears away
the verdant green.
The tired Eye roves and stops
Amidst madness, it sees an oasis green
nurtured with hope,
with the passion of goodness:
Rise! it commands
Rise from your pain
Rise from the shackles that chain
Rise to purge your soul
Rise to rejuvenate your goals
Rise to banish demons that burn your soul.
Lift your minds,
For your heaven is the soil of your creator,
Your heaven is the dancing sunlight,
Your heaven is the whispering breeze,
Your heaven is the mind within.
The joyful Eye sheds a million tears.
Now there is no fear
The blessed rain falls gently
The blessed green returns lushly.
